Cricut Cuttlebug Embossing Borders, with Love

I'm always surprised by how small A2 is, that being said, this is a cute embossing folder. I usually use larger than A2 cards, so I've just been layering the A2 size embossed portion on a larger base, effectively creating a frame. I chose this design specifically because it didn't have jack-o-lantern faces, which means I can use it all fall. I haven't used it on copy paper yet, and probably won't as my other cuttlebug embossing folders tend to tear regular weight paper... but it works beautifully on tag board, card stock, and scrapbook weight paper.

This folder embosses an area of 4" × 5.25" which gives an even 1/8" border all around an A2 card. Because of the layout one could use it to make a border strip rather than the entire area. One long side has a different dot pattern than the other at the outer edge :-(

I love this embossing folder done on an all white card. I embossed heavy white paper, added small pearls as ornaments on the tree and as a topper. It was my most beautiful Christmas card ever. This year I might go with little red cardinals on the tree. You can sit and emboss a lot of trees and then use them as needed and with different colored ornaments or no ornaments at all. Very nice, classic and simple. Simple is better for me.

This produces a nice impression if only the impression of the entire folder would not be present. I've tried different types of cardstock and paper but to no avail. This would be a neat and great product if I could get ONLY the impression of the border and not the entire rectangle of the folder being embossed also.

the dies are very cute. the problem was the packing. they were bent.

packaging was good and it came on time. pattern was beautiful and will be using this in making many cards. However, if paper is larger the edging also emboss and does not look pretty - wish the pattern went straight to the edge

I really like this set of embossing borders because you can do so much with it. It offers 5 choices of borders that can be used alone or together. You have a wide variety of creativity choices. LOTS OF FUN!!

I have been looking for this for a very long time. Amazon was the place to look. This is a great and simple embossing folder for any occasion. great for inking then embossing. Love my Houndstooth!

Good for embossing on cardstock, to make cards, it goes thru a machine to form the shape, can glue or use pop ups to raise it above the cardstock, to make a card. Color the design on the plastic folder, again go thru machine, can cut paper be careful the machine can tear the paper, cardstock is better to use.

Embossing folder to add extra dimension to my cards.. Love it.
