I didn't do anything to extreme with it on the Water resistance, but the couple times I got it wet on the sink in the bathroom it survived just fine. The chord for it seemed pretty good until I took it off after only a few uses just due to my style. (Nothing wrong with the chord, just for my usage I need it on a retractable leash that I had to add manually myself). I use the memory function more than I thought, and like the multiple line split time capabilities. (I'm a Curler, helps me to get back line to hog line and hog to hog on the same rock.) My only gripe? It's the type that makes a "Beep" every time you hit a button. I don't like that, I don't want to be distracting others around me and what not. I can easily read it, and switch between a few different modes pretty fluidly.
