Hubby loves it! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I normally provide feedback on real bad items or real good ones *by T***R on October 7, 2024* This is an awesome anvil lopper! I have been clearing a field where hundreds of jack pine trees have popped up over the past 10 years. I want to keep it a field not a forest. This lopper proved to be the best tool to make that happen along with a Makita battery powered hand pruner for larger trees that this lopper can't get a bite into. I've been cutting the trees off at the base right at ground level. I've cut over 1,600 trees so far. If the jaws of this lopper can grab the trunk, then I can cut it down. The larger trees take a few bites but the tree comes down quickly. No stumps to trip over. The blade is still very sharp. The handle is strong enough to handle the big cuts with no issue. I would definitely buy another if this wears out. I keep the hinge points lubricated to help with friction wear. No need to look further for a great operating and lasting lopper. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Difficult to maneuver between very close branches *by F***R on June 27, 2025* I had little difficulty cutting thru some thick branches, altho the tool is a little heavy. I got used to it, even bending over and leaning out with it. It cut very easily and quickly where other tools had failed.The good and bad aspects of this tool is what they call "compound action". It's a weird ratcheting thing below the cutter parts. The good news is that it makes cutting easier with a whole lot less gripping on the ends. Really worthwhile! Fast. Less work.But the bad aspect is that the cutter part is 4" across when the tool is closed. So, if you're cutting an almost 2" branch it consumes 6" of space. My twisted rosemary branches are very close together, overlapping, etc and trying to get this tool inside was close to impossible. But I was determined. So I lassoed the branch I wanted and pulled it toward me, and between the open jaws of the tool leaning against my leg. I wish I had a video of this. It mostly worked, but I couldn't get high enough into the branch to cut. I will have to be more creative. Maybe temporarily tape back the other branches?Anyway, I like this tool and can't wait to use it in very late fall to trim the few dead birch branches. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Product *by M***R on August 6, 2025* I’ve been using this tool for two years in various branch/tree cutting applications. After hundreds of uses it is still sharp and functioning perfectly. There are no regrets with this product. Years of using various types and sizes of cutters has provided me an excellent base to evaluate this item. It, by far, is the best cutter I have ever owned for small to larger medium size branches.
