The exhaust pipe is just an open pipe sticking out of the roof. It’s a tiny house, so being so small the smell was pretty much surrounding us. In my head I was picturing a carbon filter with a cover over it but had never seen anything like that. Surprisingly when I started looking I found this product that is exactly what I was picturing! It is super simple to install, slide on, couple of twists with a flat head, done. I put it on about a month ago and have not smelled anything since. I believe it said to replace the filter about once a year so it will take some time to see if that is true.
