Pretty easy to use.
These boxes are the perfect amount of dye for 1 Large men's shirt. If you follow the direction inside the box, you will get an even color all over. I used the stove method. The color came out more of a khaki color rather than a tan or nude color. I'm not complaining because that was the color I was going for in the first place. Just a little advice before putting your fabrics in dye, make sure all the powder is dissolved or else your dye job will come out blotchy.

Dissatisfied
Terrible three times. I have used this product years ago to dye muslin to a tan (“tea-stained” look) color for making dolls without issue. This new “recipe” color is way too PINK. I bought it THREE TIMES hoping if I changed the amount of water or muslin yards the fabric would get more tan. I now have ruined multiple yards of muslin fabric and I’m so very disappointed. I’d rather do the mess of “tea-stain” to make my primitive dolls.

More like terra cotta than tan.
Wouldn't really consider this tan, end product was more a clay or terra cotta color. Admittedly I did soak item longer than recommended and only used 1 packet of dye diluted with 8 cups of water so that may be why the color was so strong.

When on sale and you like that aged look grab what you can afford!
It is Rit Dye what is not to work. I love the stuff beats making tea all the time!

great dye but I prefer the liquid when I can get it
We all have accidents and sometimes those leave stains. I get extra life out of my casual slacks by making them a darker shade when needed. Ive used this dye a few times.

I ordered the dye and received the dye. When my email fills up with requests for reviews, it lowers the star level. It's Rit Dye for heavens' sake. I bought it from the site because the store didn't have the tan color. Good grief!!!

Coloration que j'envisage pour un pantalon d'été et non encore réalisée, difficile donc à évaluer. Mais je suis satisfaite de ma commande car c'est une couleur particulière jamais trouvé ailleurs.
