The ones with toes hurt my bunions. I bought this brand with toes in a small, so I bought a small toeless pair. The toeless pair were too small, so I bought the medium.When I put them on a few hours before my flight I realized that they were very tight in my foot where the opening was. So I took a small pair of scissors and cut slits into the sock toward the heel so they would stretch more. The fabric rolled under to the middle of my arch which was uncomfortable at first, but once I started walking I got used to it and didn't notice it anymore.
