Review: I modified mine by dividing the take-up reel into two sections to pull two cables while keeping them separated. I used it to raise and lower the work table on my 30 ton press.
Review: I used this to lower several loads of three 60lbs bags of concrete down a slope on a sled. I also hauled several 5 gallon buckets of dirt out of the same hole using this. This was geared in a way that my four year old was able to haul one of the buckets up. I also used this to lower a fridge down a slope. The winch had no problem with it. It had three settings, to crank it up, down and and then to free spin. The clicking caused by spinning was really loud. My only complaint was with mounting it. The holes are not placed well. I had to remove the coil, so I could put screws through all the holes.

**Q: How long is the included cable?**
A: They state that the cheapest version had a 33 foot cable , but it was only 22 foot long. Buy from honest sellers .

**Q: what is the second treaded crank bolt use for**
A: You can put the handle on either bolt. It changes the gearing so that one way winds in the cable slower, but I t is easier to move heavier loads. The other way winds in the cable faster, but it is harder to do.

**Q: Can the slip hook be used as a chocker?**
A: you can use it on what you like, at your own risk.

**Q: What is the gear ratio? Can the handle be moved to either gear ratio?**
