Works great! Tested it in a bright garage during the day time and I could still easily see the light. I regret not buying the 2 pack.

What I received was a carded brand called CAL-HAWK 6-12 Volt In-line ignition/spark tester. Made in China product. Looks like what is pictured on the Amazon site. Basically when you put it inline with your existing spark plug on say your lawn mower, it will not turn over your engine while you have this on, so don't expect your lawn mower to turn on running and that this would be some sort of glowing blinking, what it will do is that it will cause the light bulb in the unit glow when you pull on the pull cord each time. Its a somewhat weak glow but noticeable in the evening or in the dark. So you need to make sure you pull and tape down the mower break lever and pull your cord where you can also see the glow of the bulb, unless you have someone else pull the pull cord and you are standing close by watching this tester.

Works like a champ Just need to put whatever you’re checking out of bright light. Easy to use. Great quality. It’s a keeper.

I actually shut the garage door and turn the lights off so I could see it and then realized I did not need it shot because I didn’t know what I was looking for. The stupid thing is cheap and it works perfect.

Great product easy install

The part that clips onto the spark plug was poorly crimped together, and separated on the first attempted use. I soldered the connection and crimped it better, and attempted to test for spark. I held the tester in one hand so I could see it better, and turned the key with the other. I don’t know if I could have seen the spark or not, but I sure felt it! The wire on the tester is not insulated well, so I got a pretty good shock when I cranked the engine. At the end of the day I guess it technically worked; I know without a doubt that my engine is getting spark. That said, I’m ordering a higher-quality product from somewhere else.

Does the trick! Can now test my spark plugs to make certain they are functioning as the should.

I used the product for the purpose it is designed for and it works very well however it is a little flimsy so care has to be taken when handling and storeing this tool.
