XYPEX CONCENTRATE consists of Portland cement, finely graded sand and active proprietary chemicals; it is applied as a cementitious slurry to the pre-saturated surface of existing above and belowgrade structures. The active chemicals diffuse into the substrate and react with moisture and the constituents of hardened concrete to cause a catalytic reaction. You must keep it damp for three days afterward and it probably won't work if it gets flooded out of the cracks before it can fully set up. My repairs were permanent and i had 20 years to watch the first ones stay sealed. If you have a lot of water building up on the outside of the walls the water pressure will crack open the concrete block joints and open up new leaks.
