Natrol Biotin, Maximum Strength, 10,000 mcg Tablets 100 ea (Pack of 4)

This is the 3rd biotin/hair growth pill I've tried. They all give generally good results in hair health, thickness and shine. Usually the initial growth will be significant 1-3 inches and then it will taper off and simply help the hair health. The other two, if you want to try are: Sports research (brand) 5000mcg biotin with coconut oil and hairfluence. They're both very good and both contributed significant growth and health to my locks. This product gives them both a run for their money. I would say it's better but it also does a good job. To be clear I am trying to grow my hair super long. Like serious, I'm on a mission. I started taking this on 6/21/17. I measure my hair from two places. I measure a small bunch from my crown and then i measure my crown to the end of the longest point of my hair. On 6/21 my crown strand was ~21.5 inches and my crown to end was ~23.5. Today, 7/10/17 I measured again, my crown was ~23 inches and my crown to end was ~25 inches. As I said, I'm on a mission so the health of my hair hasn't increased any more than it was. But it has been maintained. In addition to pills i do deep conditions and use special shampoos so this isn't all I am doing. That said the growth is noticeable and the product seems to be a good quality hair supplement. I am very pleased with it and I'll definitely buy this again. (I rotate the pills I take to have a better effect.)

Best biotin of the four brands I've tried. I have a biotin defiency due to my medications. My itchy skin sores (back of arms, legs, face, neck, abdomen, chest) go away when I take 4 of these a night. I now try never to run out of Natrol biotin. My legs are totally clear after a year of use. I'm super excited to be able to wear shorts this summer. Took me forever to figure out what the heck caused me to look like I had some kind of pox. Take biotin, if you take nerve drugs, regardless of how healthy your diet might be. That's the real lesson. And buy Natrol brand supplements. I look younger, too, which is a bonus.

I run a women's health, fitness and beauty group (@givemelip411) and I've recently been going through hair 'hacks' that boast hair growth. Obviously one is taking 10,000mg of biotin once a day. For those of you who don't know hair typically grows 1/2 inch a month, varying from person to person. I'm fairly average, and get about 1/8th of an inch per week. This is my result from 1 week of using biotin, so it obviously works. Instead of 1/8th of an inch, I got almost 3/4". For those who are fraction challenged, that's 6/8". Meaning 6x the normal growth rate. Roughly 3" in a month. I would definitely recommend this.

Works great. There has been undeniable improvement in my nails. My nails have gotten so much stronger and healthy looking. I have seen the biggest results in my nails, and I haven't noticed as much change in my skin and hair. But the increase in nail strength has inclined me to give it 5 stars. For years, I've clipped my nails as short as possible because I couldn't stand the softness of my nails hanging over my finger. They're finally a normal length, thanks to this. I highly recommend it.
