Used this to replace the compressor on my 2005 Ford Ranger with the 4 cylinder engine
Works great. It has been on for several month, thru the hot part of the summer, and it cools nicely. I was surprised to see the screen on the old orifice was almost plugged with some white residue It looked about like paper on it. So I was glad I got the kit and replaced it. My old compressor did not fail inside the compressor. But the pulley (clutch) bearing wore out and was wiggling around. Glad it did not mess up my serpentine belt.

OEM dimensions and easy to swap.
I am happy with the product that I brought for my 2003 Ford Ranger. It match with my original parts and it was a easy swap and replacement of parts.

it failed after ONE month of use, not worth it
i contacted the company who sells these and was told they are only a distributor so no replacement or refund. i told them it was used for one month which was installed on august 22nd, and it failed! that's not nice so what? i lost all the money i paid? please do not buy these, if a seller does not backup or try to help you and do whatever it takes to make it right then they' re just here to run away with your money. i am VERY disppointed!

Worked perfect! Fit my 2002 2.3 DOHC Ranger. Parts are obviously imported at this price, but the quality appears decent. Time will tell if the longevity is there.
