Hi, I just need a great voice over without to spend time to removing eco and breathing, I do not have an insolation room is it the correct mic?

it is a very good mic.....very directional, so does not pick up a lot of sound outside the voice....i have to restart if i hear a dog bark, motorcycle.....you can test it out. i use audacity punch and roll....then clean up some with rx7 declick and voice denoise. The sennheiser has a little amp that goes with it....Audient iD14 (Sennheiser MK4) best wishes. joe t.

My mic stand has a 5/8 inch screw. Can I remove the 3/8" female metal insert to make the mic holder able to fit on the 5/8" stand? How to get it out?

Yes, you can. Just find something to remove the female metal insert on the mic holder like a coin or a metal piece that fits in it. Be careful not to break the mic holder because they are expensive I think, and without it you can't use the mic in a stand.

What stand would you recommend that can be used while standing (so not short, desktop stand)?

I do not have the digital mic. I like the DR Pro mic stand for my mics.
