And I, for one, was getting tired of trying to get them clean using my shirt. Sure, I have some of the fancy cloths that came with my glasses, but I don't always have the case with me. I keep one of these in my car -- for my sunglasses -- and on my coffee table for my regular glasses. They aren't like the fancy ones you see on TV, but then again, they don't cost nearly as much. From what I can tell, they are simply microfiber, which works really well to clean glass. These definitely get off more oil and grime than my shirt typically does. I don't use them every day so I don't know how long it will be until they are too dirty to use and need replacing, but for about $1 each, it's not a big deal. Being that they're microfiber, you could probably hand wash them a few times and keep using them so I'll update my review if I end up doing that. I'm thinking that soaking them in some OxyClean might be a good way to do it. But until then, I'm just happy that my glasses are finally clean. The way you're meant to clean glasses it to put the lenses under warm water and rub them with your fingers. Apply a little dish detergent to your lenses and rub with your fingers again. Rinse with water. You can then dry with this product, but you don't really need it. If you're on the go, you want to apply some kind of fluid and then use this product. **Q: Do these come in a case, or just lose?** A: They do not come in a case. They are loose and you have to figure out a way to keep them clean and just hanging loose. **Q: Can these be washed?** A: They don't need to be washed. But I had to soak one in warm water after a soda spilled in my bag and it took awhile to dry out but they work good as new now. If you're just using them on sunglasses and regular glasses then it will pick up the oils and makeup and specks of hairspray or water (or whatever it is that gets on them) and then it can be used over and over and it amazingly soaks in everything.
