They do raise the front off the ground a bit, but they are neither deep nor long enough to prevent the trike from rocking back and forth much more than when on flat ground. This is true even with both front bakes locked. They do accommodate a medium width tire but would not hold a wide tire. I have used CycleOps style riser blocks, for road bikes, which would have worked much better for this application. These are so shallow that I cannot imagine what application they would work well with. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid base for using my recumbent trike as an exercise bike *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2020* I use these as front wheel chokes for my tadpole recumbent trike so I can keep riding / exercising through the winter time. I have 20" x 1.5" front tires and these hold snug and secure. Great addition that allows me to keep active even when the weather isn't cooperating.
