Until now we didn't had any case with a damaged UV light. If there will be a problem during the warranty period of course we would substitute the trap. While the trap is running you can switch the mode off the UV light between on and off. Your need to have it "on" to catch other insects like e.g. flys. **Q: Does this also do the normal house flys as well?** A: Yes - to catch also house flys and other flying insects indoor, you just have to switch the UV button to "on". **Q: Will these kill Noseeums that are breeding on me? If I place it close to me** A: This trap along with the attractant package are designed to fight predominantly mosquitoes, by sucking them in. However, it also sucks in other small flying home insects. The trap does not kill insects straight away, but it sucks them in where they eventually dry out.
