CIVIVI Odium Damascus Knife
I've been collecting folders for many years and own a fair number of Damascus blades ranging from very high quality to rather average quality. This knife ranks up with the nicest and most pricey Damascus knives in my collection. Be warned, this knife is razor sharp upon arrival. RAZOR sharp! While working the knife, as usual with a new knife, I was opening and closing the knife while watching TV when I noticed blood on my hand. I thought I must have nicked myself but upon cleaning up I found 3 small nicks that I never felt and I'm a very experienced knife handler. It's that sharp. I realize its my fault for not paying close enough attention but its something I've probably done at least 10,000 times before. Because it is small, it takes a little practice and learning to be able to handle it deftly. That's probably where the nicks came from. All that aside, I absolutely love the knife. The raindrop pattern is well defined and looks as good as an $800 Boker that I have. The only difference is the number of layers and anyone who knows about Damascus steel knows that as the number of layers goes up, so does the cost of the blade. The Boker has 356 layers and this knife has 110. The scales on this knife are very pretty and nicely contoured and edged. They feel very comfortable in the hand. The finger choil for the index finger gives the user a much better feeling of control, as does the jimping on the spine of the blade. I expect this knife to be a favorite in my EDC rotation for many years to come. If you're on the fence about this knife, my suggestion is to go for it. You will NOT be disappointed.

Awesome, compact, well made knife for the $
I recently purchased this knife to replace a beloved Kershaw Link I carried for many years. My main complaint with the Kershaw is that it took up a lot of space in my pocket, so I wanted something smaller. Research led me to Civivi for an affordable, good quality knife. The Damascus blade and wood handle combo really caught my eye, so I hit the bullet on that particular version. I am very happy with the knife overall. It was a bit smaller than I had originally thought, but it fits so well in the pocket and with the way the finger choil (the finger slot at the blade) is designed, you can really get a good grip on it for certain tasks. The action feels great after a couple hours of fidgeting with it, it locks up tight, the build is fabulous, and the Damascus blade looks great and is super sharp. Absolutely worth the money, Iโd buy it again tomorrow if I lost it.

Lightweight Everyday Carry Essential
The CIVIVI Odium might be a bit small for my hand, but itโs so lightweight and compact that itโs become a staple in my pocket for everyday tasks! The 2.65" black stonewashed D2 blade is sharp and holds its edge well, perfect for quick cuts or small tasks around the house or on the go. The G10 handle provides a nice grip despite the size, and the ball-bearing action makes it super smooth to open and close. Even though I usually prefer a slightly larger knife, I canโt deny how convenient it is to carry this little guy. Itโs barely noticeable in my pocket until I need it, and that low weight makes it easy to carry all day without feeling weighed down. If you're after a compact, quality knife thatโs ready for daily use, the Odium is a solid choice!

Nice little knife
Bought this for my mother since she requested a nice small pocket knife. The D2 blade came nice and sharp. It's a smaller pocket knife but fits her hand size well. It's very light weight and the liner locks up nice and tight when deployed. She seems quite happy with it. It was a bit sticky deploying the blade at first but I gave it a quick spray with Hornady one shot to the bearings and it loosened up almost instantly.

Perfect small EDC
This is a great smaller EDC. Designed by the guys at Ferrum Forge, its everything I expect from their craftmanship and Civivi does a great job with the feel and finish of this little knife. Extremely sharp out of the box, so do be careful. Of all the knives I've bought recently, I feel like this is the lightest and with the deep carry clip you can barely tell it's there. The only complaint I have is that the detent is a little stiff and the flipper nub is on the pointy side. Overall, a great little knife.

Small and efficient
Im very impressed with the quality of this knife and the majority of Civivi products. I purchased the damascus variant few months and with casual usage the blade and handle are still in very good condition, the wood handle and finish are high quality, unlike other knifes I have owned where the wood gradually deteriorates and breaks off. The blade still has a sharp edge although has dulled with use, like any blade will. Overall im very impressed with the quality and craftsmanship, I would definitely recommend this knife for anyone who likes the Civivi brand, or any knife enthusiast.

Typical Nice Civivi ๐!good choice for edc
What's not to like!... I tend to wait before I do any review , have been impressed with this knife from the start and still using more than any others lately, I tend to stay in the 5 to 7 inch pocket knives relm, 8 is pushing it for me personally, and this little knife ๐ช with the full size finger choil has won me over , smooth snappy action , nice 50% lock up, centered right on, no wiggles ,no lock rock , almost deep carry clip , with just tip showing, ergonomics are nice despite it being on the slender side, locks in hand well, D2 steel ,well that would be the one thing I would change, due to saturation of it on the market , but its used widely for a reason... holds its edge well and pretty tough , I can definitely recommend to anyone looking for a smaller EDC ๐

New favorite
Great little knife. I prefer smaller knives for everyday carry. I like that it doesn't "print" in my pocket. Great steel. Sharpened to hair shaving sharp and seems to hold the edge well.
