I have tried other straightening brushes and none of them do a good job. Was hoping this would be better. This comb does an excellent job straightening any hair that is curly, kinky, frizzy or wavy enough to require straightening. The job for the press comb is to get the hair straight, not to keep it straight in the face of high humidity, water, etc; for that you need additional product. **Q: does this work on caucasian hair** A: Why would it not work on Caucasian hair it’s a hot comb **Q: can you use this on thick/coarse hair?** A: My hair is relatively thick and coarse. I wear my hair naturally. You can use it on thick hair but there is no doubt that the teeth of the pressing comb are close together.
