I won’t be using it this year. All of my friends with pools and all the local pool shops have said use a shower mat **Q: How do you get it to stay in place?** A: It moves but only when I move it while vacuuming the pool. It stays in place otherwise. I do not use the ladder that came with my pool. I have a removable steps ladder that is a little more heavier. Intex no longer sells that ladder. **Q: Can I just use a yoga mat instead?** A: Not sure but I like this product. **Q: What Height of these steps** A: This is not a step or steps.
