So no more eyestrain trying to read stuff out there. When it's on I would advise you not to look at it for too long, yes it is that bright. Suited to a much larger room than I put it in, no complaints. Be interested to see how long it will last, as you obviously can't change the lamps. Looks very modern and probably suit a much more modern style of property. I like it though. It has done what the blurb said it would so I am a happy camper. Gave it 5 stars from my personal opinion. You will have to make your own decision. It is a light, it's bright and it was easy to assemble and install. Cannot say fairer than that.
