A lot of forums discussed issues when using another ISP than Sky and it causing a lot of issues with their SkyQ boxes and having to make a lot of changes to settings including channel, frequencies and even connecting sky mini boxes via ethernet. However, the eeros have caused no such issues when using BT broadband, skyq boxes working seamlessly. No settings were changed on anything. The signal is great on all other devices, set up was extremely easy and the app allows to have a lot of insight into your network - and no more weak spots in the home. I also have the extender which works in harmony with the router. There are no drop outs when moving around zones in the home.
