The pick itself is a run-of-the-mill .88 Tortex pick: don't buy this if that's all you're looking for, as you can buy the Dunlop (and other) versions for less money. But the grip is fantastic, for two reasons. First, it's as nonslip as you can get. Many other pickmakers have come up with grip solutions, and some are as grippy as this in their own way (for example, the Dunlop Max-Grip and Snarling Dogs Brain Pick approaches).What makes this grip approach unique is that it adds substantial additional thickness to the grip portion of the pick. It's basically like having the gripping thickness of a roughly 3mm pick with the pick material (Tortex or celluloid) of your choice in gauges from .60 to 1.14.While I've always like .88 Tortex picks, there are others I prefer, and so I've been buying these PickWorld picks just to cannibalize the rubber grips (wish they sold them separately). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars My go-to pick *by H***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 11, 2015* I've been taking guitar lessons for about two months, and my teacher mentioned that pick preference is highly individual and that I would need to try multiple picks before deciding which one felt the most comfortable.
