Excellent lighter at a good price that works well

The product arrived about two weeks late, functioned well for about a month, now it will not light at all, solid made but the problem seems to be gas flow and the igniter, I am awaiting a response from the seller about a refund. Don't know how to return it as it is full of gas. The post office will not accept it. The product comes with a two year guarantee but has only worked for a month.

It’s a nice design looks good and works well to begin with if for any reason you may drop or knock it it will put the flame off and it will burn out and stop working it’s slightly disappointing I’ve had 3 of these now 2 are in the bin long gone and my 3rd well I’ve only just started using now and limiting use to help it last longer. I’m sure there more hardy variants out there that won’t fail so easily as to what they are I’m yet to find out. When the sleek flame 🔥 looses shape so to speak it becomes more bloomed and looses it strength this is when you know your clipper jet lighter is going to fail. And it’s slightly expensive for something with lack of internal build quality.

Works well outside in wind. Flame isnt coloured so cant see it bright sunlight. Good product and built well though. The cover over the flame is great for stopping pocket lint block the flame

Be careful how you fill this lighter as the first time I filled it when I withdrew the gas canister the plastic screw which alters the height of the flame came off on the end of the nozzle of the gas canister. Other than that, no complaints.

Quality lighters as always with clippers

I've had 2 of these both of which broke after the first refill. After the 2nd gave in I took it apart to figure out why and it's due to the connection between the flame/gas level control and the nozzle at the top that the pipe and spring are attatched. They are connected through a pipe straight down the middle that has a gap at the top of which the size can be adjusted by twisting the top with a fork bit and the bottom in the opposite direction with a flathead to change the level of gas. The sweet spot where it is neither too tight or loose is incredibly small and it's either completely screwed up blocking the gas or too loose leaking it. The first one I had was too loose and the 2nd was fixed to a degree by loosening the jammed shut control. I managed to recreate the same issue the first had with the 2nd which originally wouldn't light. From the other reviews it seems this is a common fault with the product and it's a pretty big one so I would recommend against getting it until they either fix it or just remove the level adjuster. It's a shame because otherwise it was a brilliant lighter and the gas lasted months. This problem is not present in the unrepairable plastic ones without the adjuster. It'd also be great if Clipper provided replacement parts because right now you need to measure everything up and buy them seperately, shaping them to fit.
