My walls however are popcorn textured with many coats of paint on top. So even while they stayed quite sticky, they were not strong enough to hold themselves up on a textured surface. Luckily though, they did not take any paint off the wall. I gave up on the wall and placed them on the flat frame of my mirror and they wont budge.
