If you're looking for a way to add some, well, color to your Uke, these will do the trick. They look especially great on an equally bright and colorful Makala Dolphin.I'm a little disappointed with the quality of the strings. I'm used to Uke strings taking awhile to settle in - they stretch forever, and always seem to need at least a slight tuning every time I play. These, however, are particularly bad, dropping entire steps seemingly over night. The worst part for me is the C string, which somehow is going *up* when left alone, rather than *down*, like every other Uke strings I've ever used. When I go to tune it, I'll find that the C string is incredibly sharp, or even just a flat D, while all my other strings have just gone flat.I love how these look, but I'm probably going to remove them in the near future, because the tuning quirks are becoming very frustrating. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ They're okay. *by S***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2016* They're pretty good. I got them to replace the plastic strings that I have on one of my ukuleles now. I've had them on for about a week. When I first put them on, instead of stretching, and me having to tune them up, they somehow manage to tune up, so I have to tune them down. I also had to tune them more then I would like to. They sound pretty good. The longer I had them the better they sound. The colors are really bright though and I am pleased with that. I would also like to add that the ukulele I put these strings on is mostly plastic except for the body. It a lower end beginner ukulele.
