Can I please get directions?** A: Set the handle where you want it on the box or whatever you are installing it on. If what your are installing it on is made of wood (at least 3/4" thick) you can use wood screws. if it is MDF or plastic, I suggest machine screws and nuts ot T Nuts. for these, you will have to drill holes in the item you are mounting the handle to. For wood screws, drill two pilot holes in the item you are mounting to. You can use the holes in the metal end brackets as a guide for the pilot holes. Make sure the metal ends pushed as close to each other as they will go (this will allow the strap in the middle to slide out to allow you to get your hand under it when you pick up the item). make sure the screws you use have heads larger than the holes in the metal end caps, or else they might pull through the holes in the metal end caps. I hope this helps. **Q: How wide is the strap portion?** A: 1" wide, metal strap with plastic coating. 9.5" long installs as 8" lift strap, very strong, looks good. **Q: Do these come with Screws?** A: No. Mine didn't come with any. **Q: What size screws are needed for the countersink?** A: If you are installing through thin plywood, use bolts, nuts, and washers.
