HIGH5 ZERO Electrolyte Tablets for Hydration, Blackcurrant, 20 Tablets

These electrolyte tablets have been fantastic. I first bought them when I became quite dehydrated after working out too much and not drinking enough water, and they helped me rehydrate and feel much better over the following few days. Since then, I've been using them regularly, especially after intense workouts or during hot weather, and they really help me feel refreshed and rehydrated. The berry and strawberry and kiwi flavours are my favourites, they taste great, dissolve quickly, and don't have the artificial or unpleasant taste that some electrolyte drinks do. I like serving them in very cold water, sometimes with ice and fresh mint, which makes them even more refreshing. I'm really impressed with the quality and effectiveness of these tablets and will definitely continue buying them. Highly recommended.

I started buying these to use around workouts, and they've become something I take with me to the gym every time now. The flavour is really nice. I usually drink it on its own, but I've also mixed it with a little squash before and it works well either way. It's much easier to get through a bottle of water when it actually tastes good. I've found it particularly helpful during longer or more intense sessions. Since I started using it regularly, I seem to get fewer muscle cramps, and I also feel like my muscles recover a bit better afterwards. Obviously there are lots of factors that affect recovery, but I've noticed enough of a difference that I now make a point of taking one with me whenever I train. Overall, it's become one of those things that I don't really think twice about buying anymore because it's worked well for me. It tastes good, dissolves quickly, and fits easily into my gym routine.

I am a big fan of these for the price. They always help on low energy days or days when I have not eaten enough food, and they were especially useful in the morning when I have an early start for work or after a heavy night out of drinking to recover. They really work well. I have tried the blackcurrant and the pink grapefruit and both taste great and have actual flavour, unlike some other electrolyte tablets. I recommend the blackcurrant for flavour and the pink grapefruit for something different as it has green tea in it.

If you are looking at these and wondering whether they are useful to keep around for workouts, busy days or hot weather, yes. The tube is small, easy to carry, and the tablets dissolve without making a mess. The blackcurrant flavour is pleasant, and because they are sugar free they are a good option when you want something more useful than plain water without turning it into a sweet drink. It is the convenience that makes them worth buying. My tip would be to keep a tube in a gym bag, work bag or car, and drop one into a bottle before you actually need it. Handy, simple and practical. Five stars.

I use these during and after cycling, particularly on warmer rides or indoor sessions when I am sweating enough to reconsider all my life choices. They are also sugar-free and contain virtually no calories, so you get the electrolytes without feeling as though you are drinking liquid sweets. They are convenient to carry, simple to drop into a bottle and much less messy than powders. They are not a magical replacement for drinking regularly, but they are a very useful reminder and have become a regular part of my cycling kit. Five stars. Good flavour, easy to use and far more appealing than another bottle of plain water.

Starting with the positives, I take these electrolytes everyday they help with hydration after gym sessions and are 0 calories so can’t go wrong. They’re is plenty in a pack so probably lasts me 2 weeks at a time. However I have to pretty much drink these in one as the taste is not great. I have noticed if not used with enough water you will get a strange frothy texture at the top and it does not mix in amazingly

I bought this to help with cramps I was experiencing as a side effect of medication, possibly linked to increased water intake. I’d read that keeping electrolytes topped up might help, and wanted something reasonably priced to try without committing to a huge tub. The taste is pleasant - light blackcurrant flavour that reminds me a bit of squash. It’s not overly sweet, which I personally prefer. Dissolves well in water with no noticeable residue left at the bottom of the cup. I usually add one tablet to around 700ml of water, give it a quick stir, and it’s good to go after a minute or so. In terms of effectiveness, I can’t say I feel dramatically more hydrated, but I do find it easier to drink than plain water, and the cramps I was experiencing have eased, which is what I was hoping for. I’ve been using one a day at home, but the tube packaging makes it easy to take on the go if needed. The lid can be a bit fiddly to open sometimes, although that may partly be down to me having long nails rather than an issue with the tube itself! Overall, I think these are good value and a handy option if you struggle to drink plain water or want a simple way to add electrolytes without anything too overly sweet.
