Metal grate that goes in the bottom, warped after the first burn. Seems good for occasional backyard fires, I don’t think this is something that would last for years and years and years. With all of that said, I think for the price this is a fine fire pit, I’m glad I bought it, we’ve gotten good use out of it, it works just fine.

I loaded that baby up for it's inaugural run and overdid the tiki torch mosquito fuel stuff I used to light it. Overdid is relative though. Watching a could of mosquitoes get vaporized was pretty fun. It looks cute in the yard, it contains the fire, has good ventilation from the holes in the screen lid and along the side. It's a little light, kinda flimsy. But hey, I just wanted something to burn yard sticks and keep the mosquitoes away. Mission accomplished!

Not heavy duty and WILL rust. Drill holes in bottom to let rainwater out. Serves my purpose of burning small yard debris.
