Review: Well made - Well made trolly . Rolls smoothly with little effort . I have it on a W 8”@ 10# cantilevered beam which is way over the load capacity of the trolly and other than having to add a few more spacer washers , it fits perfectly . We bought an 1850’s house (3) floors + basement . Sixteen feet first to second floor and I wasn’t about to carry heavy furniture up stairs. A chain hoist paired with this trolley made easy work of bringing furniture to the second floor bedrooms.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: what is the difference between this one that has the side guide rollers and is cast iron and one that is made from steel with out the side rollers?**
A: This one is a very high quality unit and very low profile.  I purchased these for a chemical plant facility that requires American made rigging equipment, and  these are made in the USA.  The steel ones that I looked at were generic China made lower quality units.

**Q: My beam is a wide flange . Does it fit a flange that is not tapered?**

The Jervis Webb #10711 3/4 Ton Beam Trolley is designed to fit tapered I-beams, but can be used with wide flange beams if within the following tapered I-beam sizes:

- 4" Tall x 2.660" flange width
- 5" Tall x 3.000" flange width
- 6" Tall x 3.330" flange width

**Q: Will this trolley work on wide flange 5” H beam?**
A: It will fit a 5" flange width with a small alteration. The bolt that comes with this trolley will only allow it to fit up to a 3.5" flange width. We recommend purchasing an longer bolt and additional washers from your local hardware store to accommodate your flange width. Use a Grade 5 or higher bolt.

Well made trolly . Rolls smoothly with little effort . I have it on a W 8”@ 10# cantilevered beam which is way over the load capacity of the trolly and other than having to add a few more spacer washers , it fits perfectly .
