I find that they hook on to the legs of integrated circuits securely without causing a short circuit. Much better than the flimsy "single hook" style of similar mini-grabbers. The leads are about 12 inches in length. I thought that would be a problem (short length), but it isn't. Using an inexpensive logic analyzer with these 12 inch leads, you can hook on to points that are as much as 24 inches apart. The labels (L0, L1, L2... GND) are very helpful. I also like the silicon insulated wires (flexible as opposed to stiff). So far, I haven't had any problems with the leads falling out at either end. So, almost five stars.
