Okay so for smell, it’s smells kinda weird but it’s not bad or severe just different. My hair type is kind of weird bc it depends on whether my hair is in the front or back. For each section of my hair is has different textures. So my hair is 3c-4b, the hair gel was supposed to give my hair a weighted down curl and strong hold effect, but no way! It was more smelly and honestly didn’t curl my hair more or hold it down. I looked like a mushroom flipped upside down! The edge gel is fine it’s just really strong! By the end of the day I have to scrub it off my face in the shower because it won’t get off me. It holds my curls well enough. Does the typical gel thing and leaves your hair a bit crunchy.Took off two stars because of how the product arrived. I think they have some manufacturing issues. The amazon box was in perfect condition but the product itself doesn't come sealed properly. The gel had leaked out of it's seal. Seems the gel ests through the paper seal they apply. So I lost quite a bit of product and it took a bit of time to clean. It was hard to show just how much gel was actually all over the outside but I attached photos for reference.Another star lost because they wrote in to see how I liked the product and I let them know of how it arrived but I got no response. That's bad customer service. For the price, I shouldn't have to worry about the gel leaking before getting to me.
