A: The height is 7.28cm

**Q: Can i use this with leds?**
A: Yes, I am using it with LED for my garage light now.

**Q: Does this socket depend on the light switch or is always Live? If yes, are there any sockets that can remain always live and not depend switch ?**
A: switch has to be on to power these sockets, only other way to do it is to have them in a table lamp that is plugged into a 110 circuit / as all light are meant to be turned on - off via a switch, you could also try re wiring the outlet so it is always live.

**Q: Can this be used in Europe, 220 v?**
A: It needs to be researched. The issue is how thick are the insulators? If this product is designed to insulate against 120V and no more, then it should not be used in a 220V system. The risk is a short circuit causing a fire.

Product seems fine BUT if the socket you are using has a collar (e.g. common on flood lights) this adapter's male part won't fit, the socket bulge prevents it from fully screwing in.
