Very stable and a large enough ironing bed. The iron stand at the end is a nice feature. Really great height when fully up. Goes up and down easily. The only bad point is that the ad copy mentions non-slip, non-scratch feet. While they may be non-slip, these feet are hard plastic and so will probably scratch a wood floor. Other than that, it is great. We also had an issue with the cover, but Brabantia shipped out a replacement very quickly.
