A: 48oz/16oz(per pound) = 3lbs
Unless my math is wrong. If my math is wrong it is a 27lb hammer.

A: Mine is made in the United States. I assume that they still are.

A: The entire hammer weighs 3 pounds 14 oz. meaning the head weight must be 3 pounds.

A: I wouldn't soak it, but I use mine for automotive work all the time and it hasn't degraded at all
