This is made out of durable plastic, which they contend to be completely free of PVC, BPA, PAK and Phthalate on their website. The quality is fantastic. Has lasted a whole season with little sign of any wear and tear. I expect it to last for quite awhile.

All Spielstabil items are made in Germany and are all free of phthalates, BPA, lead and PVC. Spielstabil products are made of food-grade ABS plastic and anything that needs to be joined together is done so using hygenic ultrasonic welding rather than glue.
