This is not the pyrex which used to be. Pyrex has new owners which love to cut corners apparently. They changed the way they make the glass and it shatters easily. I had one shatter on me yesterday. It was hot in the oven, and as soon as i opened the oven door and the cooler air from my kitchen touched it, it blew up.
