Be aware, if your motherboard is relatively new (last 2 years, maybe 3) it might have a TPM module on the motherboard. And yes, it might still have a 14-1 header for TPM. This was the case for me with a series 600 chipset (z690) and plugging this TPM into the header prevented the board from booting into POST. You can check for this situation by going into Device Manager > Security Devices and looking for "Trusted Platform Module X.X" (where X is the version). If you have an entry for this in Device Manager, you don't need this add on. I seriously doubt you need it for Win11. I followed simple directions and TPM was under CPU in BIOS. SO- set that to On for Win11. See all other steps from Windows. **Q: Would this be usable on the X570 Taichi?** A: Most likely not - this module is for ASRockRack server motherboards. This is model TPM2-SLI, and according to the specs of your board (I’ve did a quick Google search but be sure to re-check) you need one that’s called TPM-SPI. And just a heads-up - maybe you don’t need a dedicated TPM module - an fTPM built in to your CPU might suffice. Check your UEFI ("BIOS") settings if there's anything about TPM and maybe there's already a setting that allows to enable it that's turned off by default. **Q: Can i install this module on a msi z170a gaming m7 motherboard?** A: Nope.
