Our pool has a new policy of no non- coast guard approved floats in the water, so we stopped using it for awhile. By the time he was 12 months he really didn’t like being cooped up in it. That might just be a my kid thing, but that was our experience. I know there are some reviews saying this thing is over engineered. I didn’t feel that way. It made me feel safer as a parent. I still held on to my baby the whole time, but it felt very stable. The only thing I was a little worried about was the strap between the legs, my new Mommy brain was worried the straps were going to slip. It never happened. Also my baby was pretty little… so they weren’t creating much strain on the system. It does take a bit to blow up, but worth it I’d say. It’s made out of a higher quality material, not the real cheap plastic my stuff. It’s softer and more flexible. The design is cute, fun shark looking.
