Just what I was looking for
I have multiple keys that need to come on and off during the week, but not every day. I need a way to lock them into place w/o them falling off in my pocket. This has worked out perfectly. The color is great and has held up well. I would buy again.

Best I've used so far.
Best carabiner I've used for my work keys which are on and off my belt loop numerous times each day. I always drill a hole in the bottom corner just big enough for a key ring to go through so it doesn't slide around. I get a minimum of 3 years full time daily use before it starts sticking open and needs replaced.

STRONG AND EFFECTIVE
UPDATE: DEC. 1 - already broke. boo. these used to be higher quality. cannot keep buying them if they do not even last 3 months! USING THIS TO CONNECT THE 2 DOG LEASHES I USE TO CONTROL MY 70LB PUPS TASMANIAN DEVIL REACTION TO OTHER DOGS. IT IS STRONG ENOUGH TO KEEP THE LEASHES TOGETHER AND WITHSTAND HIS PULLING.

Great for outdoorsy stuff, too big for keys.
I'm a huge Niteize fan. I've used a couple of their products doing handyman work and have been thoroughly impressed. When I saw this one had a locking feature and was big enough for heavy-duty webbing I decided to try it out. It's possibly not as convenient for some things as the S-biners but I really like it. It's a great product.

Key rings get stuck under locking device
I had really high hopes that this would be a good locking clip to hold my key rings, but I am incredibly disappointed as it has one MAJOR flaw. Whenever I unlock it by sliding up the little black tab, one of my key rings immediately slides into and gets stuck in the spot where the locking mechanism would otherwise go. Once this happens, it is very hard to get my key ring back out of that slot, and in the meantime I can't open the carabiner as my key ring acts as the lock. Super frustrating and literally happens to me every day. I should have returned this when I could and ordered another type of locking carabiner.
