Ben scritto e con sviluppi ad ogni pagina. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful summer read from a wonderful writer *by B***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 May 2021* I absolutely love Heidi Swain’s books and I was so looking forward to reading A Taste of Home. Heidi’s books are one of those books you can’t wait to read but don’t want to read too, as you want to keep reading them as long as possible, you just don’t want them to end. This book follows the story of Felicity or Fliss Brown. We meet Fliss as she is living in Italy and has just lost her mother. Fliss has grown up with her nomadic mother travelling the world believing that she has no other family. Following her mothers death she reads a letter left to her from her mother, stating that she in fact has family in England, Fliss makes the decision to leave her home in Italy and travel to Wynbridge to finally meet the family she never knew she had.Fliss discovers that she has a grandfather still alive living on a fruit farm just outside the lovely town of Wynbridge. Unfortunately, her grandfather hasn’t been able to maintain the farm since needing a hip replacement but Fliss rolls up her sleeves and gets stuck into what needs to be done to keep and repair the farm. Add in a gorgeous carer, the lovely Eliot, this is a great summer read.Like I say I love Heidi’s books and simply cannot put them down once I have started. I loved returning to the town of Wynbridge and meeting up with previous characters. Don’t feel that you can’t read this if you have never read any of Heidi’s books before though. All her books can be read as stand alone books, but I would highly recommend reading all her books anyway, in fact why haven’t you read any yet? I think Heid’s books are just so accessible and welcoming. They draw you in straight away and are a lovely comforting read. Well written, great plot, good characters and lovely descriptions. Looking forward to Christmas and her next book now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Heidi does it again! Absolutely fabulous *by K***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 May 2021* I was thrilled to be accepted to read and review A Taste of Home by Heidi Swain. Thank you netgalley and Simon & Schuster UK. I've read every one of Heidi's books and have loved them all. A Taste of Home was no exception. Follow Fliss and her journey to Wynbridge from Italy to find out more about her estranged family after her Mother sadly passes away and leaves her a letter filled with secrets. It was a real treat to go back to Wynbridge and explore new characters as well as visit some old familiar faces. As with all of Heidi's books the story draws you in and you don't want it to finish. It's just like a big hug in a book and I'm sure we could all do with one of those at this moment in time. If you enjoy light hearted, easy reading with likeable characters and a couple of twists in the tale then A Taste of Home ticks all those boxes. Thank you Heidi for such a gorgeous story.
