**Q: Thanks 4 the help everyone!  :-)**
A: The train definitely comes off the track...it is screwed in bit removable. I don't believe that you can connect other trains...hope this helps :)

**Q: Do the wheels roll well and are they sturdy enough for a 2.5 year old to play with?**
A: The wheels roll good, but if the car is pressed down upon, it doesn't roll as well.  The car is very sturdy, good quality, but would be concerned about a toddler possibly being able to remove wheels.  I gave the car to my grandson who was 6 at the time, don't have it or I would test it out for you.

**Q: Is the train numbered or lettered with a particular train line?**
A: The set comes with stickers to choose your own line.

**Q: Does it fit into Thomas the train wooden track ?**
A: this item does not fit on wooden track. These subway cars are the ones that fit on Thomas wooden track:
