It will hold three 3.5 drives and fit on a 2bay 5.25 slot. I have a ten year old Antec NSK HTPC case; works great. My only gripe and why I would not give this item five stars, is because the fan is LOUD. The settings on the fan is already on low. Not very happy, but glad it's working.**UPDATE**The fans are really not that loud, but loud enough for a quiet office.
