So so strange that Scuba Pro - at that price range can ship a DOA. ### ⭐ Wouldn't turn on or charge out of the box. *by J***O on 31 January 2021* Price dropped $400 (I paid the $1k) so I took the chance despite other reviews of it not turning on out of the box. And the one I got didn't :( Scubapro says it's factory packaged in a deep sleep mode to save battery life to help prevent this problem, BUT there's no telling how long the item you receive has been sitting on a shelf. The paper instructions that come with it definitely are extremely limited. But, there's a full manual available in PDF online, so not a big deal (go Green, right? :) Not totally giving up on this product, tho. Seems sturdy, and the concept is definitely the future. And I'm encouraged by those who have received a working unit and have over a 100 dives with it. Just need to figure out a way to avoid getting one stuck in deep sleep mode again.
