On the back of the package, there is only one mention of needle size which is: NM 90-110. Furthermore, only one thread size is mentioned on the back of the package which is: No 50. Gutermann does sell a set of 12 with expanded colours, but these six are the most useful. The entire Gutermann Denim thread line comes in 35 colours. The Gutermann Denim thread is a Tex 60 weight thread, with 600/2 construction (two ply, dtex 600). It is similar to the industrial-sector Gutermann Mara 50, which is also a Tex 60 thread but that is 600/3 with a tighter twist. Gutermann Denim lies in between the common Gutermann Sew-All (Tex 30 weight, aka Gutermann Mara 100, 300/2 construction) but not quite as heavy as the Gutermann M782 Extra Strong, which is Tex 70. Gutermann Denim is also slightly thicker than Gutermann Jeans (Tex 40, 430/2).
