I say perfect because the waist band is at my waist and they go all the way down to just below my ankles. The elastic around my ankles is tight and no bagginess anywhere at all. I believe they could probably fit someone just an inch bigger but I would not go 2 inches bigger. They are definitely a lot thicker and a lot warmer than the Fruit O.T. Loom pants but not as soft. I am using Downy fabric softener hoping to soften them up a bit. I read some reviews about rips and holes developing. In those cases it didn't take long for this to happen. I haven't experienced any rips or holes, I wore one pair for three days straight and they did fine. I'm giving 5 stars right now because so far they seem to be the best pair of long johns I have worn but will update if I have any issues.
