Only took me 5 minutes and three beers. Also, a short trip to the ER. But that was her fault, not mine, and I'm sticking to my story. They were easy to hang from gutter after I removed the downspout and threw it in my neighbors yard, although I do recommend the additional accessory to mount inside the actual gutter. Also, I did use some silicone caulk in the gutter to seal in the mount because before I did that, the water just poured out everywhere. Afterwards, it did peacefully cascade down the chain all the way to the ground. In heavy rain, all hell breaks loose, but to be quite honest, who the hell is in their yard during a heavy rain storm anyway, watching the dangling chains of oppression contain the nourishing water of life from splashing wherever the universe has intended. In all, I did find this to be a very nice purchase.
