## Description

The newest addition to the Cavallo line of hoof boots. Trek is simple to put on and remove and stays securely on the hoof. The upper is made from Pro Mesh molded TPU and patented RES Replaceable Velcro closure are both exclusive to Cavallo Hoof Boots. The honeycomb design of the Pro Mesh optimizes strength and minimizes weight. The regular sole accommodates a hoof that has a rounder shape.

Review: Excellent trail boots! - Love these boots! I use them for trail riding and my pony is clearly more comfortable over sharp gravel trails with them. I've never lost a boot, even when going through deep mud or water, or cantering/hand galloping (even though several friends' horses have lost shoes on the same trails). It only takes a few seconds to put each boot on and is equally easy to take off, then just hose off before next ride. I also like that they fit through an entire trim cycle as my pony's feet grow quickly in the summer. No issues with rubbing and very few parts that can break or need adjusting.

Love these boots! I use them for trail riding and my pony is clearly more comfortable over sharp gravel trails with them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked well for a healing hoof abscess

Impressed with this, used on a pony with a hoof abscess. First, they're easy to put on, with the front opening right up and letting the hoof go straight in. Getting the right size is key, there shouldn't be any pushing or pulling needed to get them on, unlike old style poultice boots. They're also easy to fasten with Velcro tabs, which also makes it easy to get them off. In this case, they were used over a shoe. Took a couple of walks to get used to the extra height, but the long had no bother when turned out in a grassy field - trotted up and down hill without bother, and the boots stayed on through rolls, bucks and gallops. They also didn't get pulled off by thick mud in the field bottom, and drained off after he went in the river for a drink. They seem to be hard wearing, but without being too heavy, though as he had a shoe that will wear them out faster than unshod. They certainly grip well on different surfaces, and have a fairly aggressive tread pattern. Haven't tried them while ridden yet, but I don't have any worries about doing so if needed.
