A: It is 17 in. long and about 5- 3/4 in. deep

**Q: Would it hold my 2 winter coats and a sweater?**
A: It Should if you fasten it securely enough to the wall. I hang plenty of clothes on mine, have not hung jackets on it.

**Q: Does this shelf come with screw hole covers?**
A: It does; but they are thin plastic peel off dots, not wood like you would expect.

**Q: Is there enough space for a alexa 4th gen on top?**
A: The top is 5 1/2” deep by 17” long. If your Echo can fit within that space without hanging over, I would say you’re good.

These shelves are adequate for the price, but buyers should be aware they are not made of solid hardwood. The material is a very lightweight wood, similar to balsa, stained in the color selected at purchase. I did encounter a minor quality control issue: several boards were stained on only three of the four edges. While this was not a significant problem, it is worth noting. I ordered seven units, all of which arrived in good condition with no damage. Assembly is straightforward, though using a power drill is highly recommended. Care should be taken not to apply excessive torque, as the boards can split. Once installed with my own metal drywall anchors, the shelves had no trouble supporting multiple winter coats, small items in the drawers, and medium-to-lightweight items on top. The listed dimensions on the website are accurate. The included hardware is of acceptable quality, with the exception of the provided drywall anchors, which are made of very cheap plastic. They are unlikely to support anything heavier than the shelving unit itself, but this can be easily resolved by purchasing higher-quality anchors from a home improvement store.
