What I found when removing original washers that came with some of the items were plastic/vinyl type material which would not provide good sealing for long. I was look for high quality washers which will not even waste single drop of water and I am very pleased with this product. They are made of high quality rubber and looks quite heavy duty. It provide complete leak tightness. They were much higher in cost compared to some of the cheaper alternatives on desertcart, but you get what you pay for. Highly Recommended!

Good Hose Washers
My husband likes these replacement hose washers better than the black ones. They are flexible, fit very well and do not leak. He has me order them to always have on hand because he uses so many hoses and after a few summers of intense heat they need replacing.

Goodbye leaks, this year... and next
Every year when I take out my garden hoses in the spring, I yank out all the old washers and put in new ones. Yes, it seems like a waste of time, but my hoses never leak. Washers get compressed and distorted over time and replacing them with new washers means that the connections are always water-tight. Washers aren't expensive to begin with, but getting a large pack for a few bucks means I have washers for the next several years.
