**Q: How do i keep the rope from moving with the height adjusters?**
A: We have this hung from a tree. The tension of the rope against the adjustments hold it in place. Never had a problem with it moving.

**Q: What is the width between the ropes on the seat?**
A: About 38 inch.

**Q: is it able to go in a bedroom on the ceiling?**
A: I don't see why not as long as you have the ceiling support and can hook into studs.

**Q: can you paint these?**
A: Sorry, we can't do so, buy you can paint yourself.
