Could this be used on a round glass table?

I don't see why not. I have used it directly on an outside wall to stop the patio doors from getting scratched. It comes with an adhesive strip and should go round a glass table. Best to get it long enough so only one join

It’s not pets friendly. It’s rubbery, if it’s chewed upon, it can definitely cause choking to either a pet and even a child.
